‘YAHOEL’ Crystals
Yahoel is the first of the 72 names of Metatron. In the Old Testament there is a mighty Archangel called Yahoel. When Yahoel introduces himself to Abraham, he states that the meaning of his name is ineffable, and incapable of being expressed with human words. Legend has it that the Archangel Yahoel is so close to God in his nature and form, that he could be accurately described as a manifestation of God’s supremacy. It is also stated that Yahoel is one of the grand choir masters in heaven, and that he personally instructs legions of angels with their singing. When you get your crystal it is important to bond with it by by breathing and saying Ya-ho-el three times. The word is one of the keys for aligning with the Light of Metatron.
The myths of Metatron are complicated. Some say he came into being when God created the world. Others say he was first a human named Enoch who Ascended to Heaven. Enoch was instructed in a great cosmic wisdom, and using his skills as a scribe, prepared three hundred and sixty-six books. When he learned everything, God then revealed to him great secrets, some of which are even kept secret from the angels. These included the secrets of Creation, the duration of this world’s time/ survival.
After his heavenly schooling Enoch returned to earth to teach everyone, including his sons. After thirty days, the angels returned him to Heaven and then the divine transformation took place. Enoch’s height and breadth become equal to the height and breadth of the Earth. God attached thirty-six wings to his body, and gave him three hundred and sixty-five eyes, each as bright as the sun. His body turned into celestial fire – everything morphed to divine flames. Storms, whirlwinds and thunder encircled his form. The angels dressed him in magnificent garments, including a crown, and arranged his throne. A heavenly herald proclaimed that from then on his name would no longer be Enoch, but Metatron, and that all angels must obey him, as second only to God.
Metatron is one of the most important angels in the heavenly hierarchy. He is a member of a special group that is permitted to look at God’s countenance, an honor most angels do not share. Because of this position he is also known as the Angel of the Presence. It is believed that he brought the teachings of Kabala and sacred creational geometry to the Jewish mystics. The name Metatron is thought to be a Tetragrammaton for ‘God’. Metatron is one of the most powerful archangels, acting as the celestial scribe to the Book of Life, which keeps track of all the choices made by earthly and divine beings. He is also a guide to humanity, and the speaker for God.
