The Templars have always been about protecting what is good, right, holy, and hallowed. The Templars were founded in 1119 by Sacred Knights sworn to protect Christian pilgrims visiting the Holy Land. They amassed enormous wealth and legends of their hidden treasures, were known thru out Europe. The Knights Templar were also rich in ‘relics’. Relics were the remains of holy people or sacred things, from Myth and history. The Knights Templar were all about secrets, and mysteries handed down. Some say the Holy Grail, or Sangreal, was found by the Templars and taken to Scotland and buried beneath Roslyn Chapel. Other relics were the Holy Grail, the Ark of the Covenant, blood /DNA of the Christ child offspring of Mary Magdalene and Christ.
Some say that the order also found the real Ark of the (not so plugged in as to cause trouble) the chest which contained sacred objects of ancient Israel, including Aaron’s rod and the tablets of stone inscribed by God with the Ten Commandments.
The real truths will probably always remain a mystery since all Templar affairs were conducted in secret. Any member of the Order who revealed the proceedings was punished by expulsion.
