I am thrilled that these magical stones found their way to me. It has taken a while for these beauties to finally find their crystal voice and tell me their story and a most unusual story it is. These beauties call themselves ‘Castles in the Sky’ and all that involves. I have never seen Aragonite in this form with such a powerful seam of quartz crystal within its castle structure.
First let’s define castle; A Castle is a large structure, of the medieval period, fortified against attack, with thick-walls, battlements, towers, and in many cases a Moat. Castles were built in the past by a king for protection against attack. A Castle is also a Rook, a safe secure place. Rook is associated with alchemy. Rook energy asks one to take something ordinary and turn it into something extraordinary.
Within these crystals lives the story of the Rook in all of its glory. The Rook is a magical bird that is steeped in history, mythology, and legend. This powerful bird has long been associated with wisdom, change, and transformation. Rooks are generally regarded as bad fortune, however, well-established rookeries (in castles) are deemed to bring good fortune. There are three words that describe a cluster of rooks: a building, a clamor, and a parliament (how appropriate).
Rooks have longer wings than crows and grayish beaks. Rooks are a member of the crow family and are considered very intelligent birds. They represent wisdom, change, and adaptability. In Greek mythology, rooks were said to be the messengers of Zeus. They are excellent symbols of transformation and able to face any challenge head-on. Rooks are monogamous birds that live in close knit colonies known as rookeries; the males are great fathers and mates.
Aragonite has a strong anchoring quality. This crystal comes to help you discover your personal foothold and delve deeper into your foundations so you can become an immovable wall.
