The vibrations from the land of Australia and New Zealand have been quit loud for some time now, pushing their way into our thoughts demanding that we connect with these sacred lands in heart and attention. When I was in Denver I bought these beautiful stones from an old Aussie miner, he said they came from the outback, near a cave with water and ancient drawings, So of course I bought them without hesitation. It has taken several months for them to show their truths. It was not unit I got the Australian mookaite pendants that they were triggered. These beautiful stones call themselves Wandjina Stones.
The Aborigine creation legend of the WandJina speaks of bare land in the beginning of time. There was no life on Earth—no animals, no plants, no trees and no humans. Wandjina, the Creator, brought the ancestors from within the earth and over the seas, and life began. Some of the ancestors were like men and others were like animals. According to myth it is believed that the ancestors were able to change and shape-shift becoming either man or animal. In some myths Wandjina was not one god but many gods, or spirit gods, which were portrayed with big black eyes, no mouth, and a halo—certainly not representing human beings. Legends tell how Wandjina walked on Earth and created everything.
Wandjina are beings from Australian Aboriginal tradition that are depicted in rock art. Some of the artwork in the Kimberley region of Western Australia dates back 4,000 years ago. Wandjina images are painted on the rocks and in caves marked in black, red and white ochre. These images are painted in ceremonial sites and were repainted each decade to ensure the image was kept fresh and lively. For people of Mowanjum, near the town of Derby in Australia, the Wandjina brought the law, culture and the language of their people. Their Dreaming stories tell of the first Wandjina, who lives in the Milky Way and is the father of all Wandjinas.
